Railway | A bit of a noisy kids pub on a Saturday night (Although nearly empty by eleven) but they do a good pint of Okell's and there's a very impressive array of bottled beers on the beer menu, including Westmalle Dubbel for example.

Rovers Return | A traditional multi-roomed boozer with excellent ales served from the one bar counter. One room, a windowless snug, celebrates firefighters - and note the firehose beer pumps.

Shore Hotel | A slightly dingy interior in this plain pub with a brewery at the back. Their own Bosun's Bitter is very good. In 1998 I had my first ever meeting with a Manx cat in the beer garden here.
