Bridge Inn | Three real ales offered in this rather splendid "traditional South Downs pub", whatever that means. Concentrating on up market food they also funtion as a pub serving quality real ales. I'm sure the expired Cask Marque sign is purely an oversight.

Just under the railway from the station. |

Anchor Hotel | Greene King ales and guests are on offer in this large open chain pub, very quiet on a Monday evening. The ale was spot on.
Not to be confused with the Anchor Tap round the corner, which is owned by the wonderful Dark Star brewery but doesn't deign to open at all on Mondays, which happened to be when I wanted to visit. Last visited August 2017. |

Wetherspoon's Lynd Cross | Standard 'spoons in a shop conversion I think. Cheerful and friendly on a Monday evening. Plenty of quality real ales on, but not as many as you think as most clips are duplicated.
