We
bumped into the sixth annual Flats Bar Crawl here. Their
tee-shirts claimed 45 bars in 40 hours for last year's
crawl but they were only doing ten this year! A
pleasant and quiet (once the crawlers had left) bar with
a club to the rear.

Chop House and Brewery |
Six of their own brews on tap, including a very nice nut brown which was not too sweet. The food is pretty good as well. Decor is the usual bare brick and girder style that seems to feature in every pub in America opened in the last ten years. If you sit at the bar you can stand your pint on an eight foot long block of ice covered in frost in a trough in the counter top - I've never seen that before! As if American beer isn't cold enough already.

The Grille |
The usual modern decor of naked air conditioning
ducts in this rather grubby large open bar in the
Cleveland Browns Football Stadium.

River's Edge |
A large popular bar with a very pleasant verandah
overlooking the river. Friendly locals!

Rock Bottom Brewery |
A large restaurant in an entertainment complex in an
impressive old industrial building. Their own brews
include an excellent cloudy wheat beer. Superb food.

Shooters |
A very large, popular dockside bar / restaurant
surrounded on three sides by water, with food including
sushi and pizza. The stylish fans above the bar are
totally ineffective! Draught beers include some very nice
ones from the local Great Lakes brewery. When I visited
early on a Saturday evening there were two hen parties
under way!
