T-G's Lounge | A pleasant quiet town centre lounge with the usual domestic fizz on tap. Next door is T-G's cafe where I can recommend the steak hoagie.

Lightener's Sports Grill | The rather splendid bar back - mirrors, neon and dark wood mouldings and columns - contrasts with the plain decor of the rest of the room in this friendly clean and tidy local boozer. The three draught taps were out of use leaving only the standard domestic bottled brews, but at $1.25 who's complaining.
This would appear to be the only pub in town! Last visited October 2000 |

Peter Outlaw's Lounge | A plain popular bar in one end of the Econolodge
Motel, busy with friendly darts players when I was there.
The usual range of bottles, no draught beer.

West Virgina Brewing Company | This brewpub has a large dining area, a smaller bar, pool tables and outside at the back a small deck. Along with a number of regular brews they were serving a superb apricot wheat beer when I visited. On a Tuesday lunchtime the place was pretty much deserted. The food - burgers, salads etc - is good and I particularly recommend the beer-marinaded steak.
Conveniently located for the Personal Rapid Transit system. Last visited July 2001 |
