Hand pumpOld Speckled Hen, Boddingtons, John Smith's / Carling, Foster's, Stella This splendid antique pub is well preserved and well kept. On my most recent visit the Speckled Hen was of mediocre quality. Tables in the tiny front yard.

Hand pumpvarious, Boddingtons / Becks, Budweiser (US) The traditional bare bricks decor of the Stanley Arms has been replaced by contemporary pastel colours in this large free standing (fake) half-timbered building, and under the new name it's more of a restaurant than a pub, but there's still a bar area for drinkers. The real ale was of poor quality when I visited, hopefully a one-off.
