| Copple House | A two room pub with rather up market nice decor which the customers don't live up to. Unusual to see Trophy as the only bitter. Now closed and demolished. Last visited 1998. |

| Grey Chaser (Chaser) | The Chaser was a "Mr Q's" branded pub when I visited in 1998. The lounge side was pleasant enough with four pool tables (One red, one blue and two green baize). I'm told it has changed hands a number of times since then, as well as changing its name. In 2010 the Grey Chaser was a plain well cared for two bar pub, quiet on a Saturday afternoon. Function room at the rear. Now closed and demolished. Last visited 2010. |

In 1998 I described this as a slightly tatty two bar boozer. Revisiting in 2010 I found it was spotless and well cared for, with a well-done recent redecoration. Both sides were deserted on a Saturday afternoon, custom consisting of one regular plus me. In 2018 is was again very quiet.
