Burtonwood, Burtonwood IPA / Carling, Carlsberg This plain well cared for one bar boozer was re-opened in November 1998 after a long period of closure. There are some interesting pictures of old Liverpool on the walls. The landlord told me they would be changing to Worthington beers soon.
Noted closed and tinned up in 2010.

Vaux A friendly lunch-time crowd from the fruit market in this down market two bar pub with a plain functional front bar with two pool tables. Note that there were two pubs next door to each other, both called Cattle Market - This is the eastern one. After a period as the Cattle Market Fun Pub, with a purple paint job to match, this has now closed and has been demolished.
