Chateau Staropramen and Stella on draft in this noisy busy lively traditional pub, with a night club downstairs.

Goldfingers A rather good lap-dancing club. The beer, if you're really interested, is Pilsner Urquell.

Hostinel U Duou Sluncu A traditionally decorated plain cafe bar serving Krusovice and excellent food.

J & B Bar A small airport bar plus tables in the concourse. Pilsner Urquell.

J J Murphy's & Co Staropramen, Kilkenny and Guinness on tap in this pleasant friendly "Irish" bar with nicely understated decor.

Karavella Budweiser Budvar is on tap here. At ground level a corridor bar plus a conservatory, and there's a night club and restaurant in the basement.

Kovarna Old Town Square prices, but you get to sit under the awnings in the square, in view of the famous clock.

Petrin Tower Not technically in the tower, we had an unidentified draft pilsner from the kiosk in the park at the bottom.

Pivnice Radegast Excellent food in this beerkeller-style restaurant.
I may have got the name wrong, as it translates to Radegast Brewery - a bit like calling an English pub John Smith's because that's what the big sign on the front says!

Pizzeria Arena A wide range of draft beers including Starobrno in this large basement pub/club/restaurant. Totally devoid of atmosphere early in the evening, but we had a very nice pizza. Later it's a disco and they charge entry.

Plzenka A proper locals' pub serving Gambrinus and Pilsner Urquell in one traditionally decorated room.

Prince In the luxury hotel U Prince, the main bar has very impressive decor in one room split up by pillars.

Prince rooftop bar A rooftop bar on top of the hotel, offering fine views of the famous Staromestske Namseti (Old Town Square).

Provaznice Pilsner Urquell and Gambrinus on draft in this very nice bar tucked away on a back street near Wencenslas Square. The interior features some (decorative) bare brickwork. Excellent food.

Reykjavik This up-market looking two-storey restaurant specialising in sea-food has the usual tables, awnings and heaters on the pavement outside where we drank Krusovice.

Svateho Vaclava A nicely done cafe/bar with tables out on Wenceslas Square. Excellent food although the service was a little unreliable.

Cafe Zahrada A pleasant cafe bar with a conservatory and courtyard at the back. Bottled beer only, including Pilsner Urquell.

Zanzibar Across the river to the lesser town, and another basement bar with no atmosphere early in the evening, but probably pretty lively later on.

Zlata Hvezda (Golden Star) This nice modern cafe/restaurant has some tables out on the street.

Zlata Konovice At ground level a tiny plain modern bar, but three or four storeys below is a large restaurant and bar serving Pilsner Urquell and food that looks good. The diners were having an international singalong with the violin and accordion when we were there. Becharovka, a traditional local drink, tastes of cloves. YUK!
