| Promenade Cafe | The Promenade Cafe has some art deco opulence, perhaps not as much as in other parts of the wonderful museum/hotel/tourist attraction that is the Queen Mary.

| Grand Central Market | This is an enormous food court where one vendor is the Golden Road Brewery with about twenty of their own beers on tap.

| Highland Park Brewery | A rather well done converted warehouse with lots of brewing gear at the back. They have about thirty craft beers on. A special mention for the Pils with ghost chillies and other spices - It really has a wonderful kick.

| Jameson's Irish Pub | A rather good two room bar in Irish style, targeting the throngs of tourists on Hollywood Boulevard. Good beer and food.

| Karl Strauss Brewing Co | An absolutely enormous space with modern decor; naked air conditioning ducts and the like. About 24 craft beers were on tap. Umpteen TVs were showing various sports, I could see basketball, American football, proper football, and two different baseball matches.

| Tigers Taproom | A pleasant plain shop conversion with about sixteen taps.

| Buck Wild Brewing | A converted shed (aren't they all?) this one has a wonderful arched wooden roof which looks newish from the inside, so could it be a new shed? Umpteen brewing vessels in the back, quality craft beers and food served in the front.

| Burgeon Beer Co The Arbour | Another modern styled craft bar, the decor in this one stands out because the ceiling beams are decorated with hanging vine leaves and cotton wool "clouds". Quality beers and food are served.

| Schroeder's | A rather beautiful interior in this German style bar/restaurant offering sausages, schnitzel and so on, and a good range of local and German beers. A 1 litre stein of a German wheat beer cost $25 plus tax, ouch. The wurste were excellent.
