A plain bar half and very nicely done lounge half with side rooms. The beer yard looks very pleasant. Reported closed in 2021, but luckily not permanently and it was just as good when I returned in 2024. Quality real ales are served. Last visited February 2024. |

A very well done pub/restaurant in a great example of brewers Tudor with a modern extension at the back. They serve good beer and the food looks good as well.

Behind the nice looking but slightly worn facade the Black Horse was a rather tatty boozer. More recently, as Sheridans, it is very well cared for inside and out. Last visited February 2024. |
