Dandelion (Black Horse) |
Black Horse: A large lounge, a plainer bar, and dining area to the rear made up this pleasant pub located just across the road from the famous chippy. Quite a few hand pumps but apparently no real ale. After a period of closure it has been totally remodelled inside and the Dandelion is a very pleasant friendly food-oriented pub also welcoming drinkers with quality cask ales and a good range of bottled beers. I'd suggest booking if you wish to dine. Last visited July 2023. |

An antiquey wood-beamed interior with a number separate rooms in this traditional locals' ale house. The interior looked a little tired and the trade was rather thin on my most recent visit.
