Liverpool Arms

This was a classic boozer for the local people, popular and lively with a children's party in one bar and a singer in the other when I visited on a bank holiday afternoon. Pool table. LSTV.
Now closed and demolished.

Priory
|
A nicely decorated rather plastic pub in the Q's chain, concentrating on food - burgers, wraps etc. and pool. The cask Tetley was mediocre when I visited. Beer garden. LSTV.
Now closed and replaced by new housing.

This very large brick and carved stonework construction dating from 1906 contains a comfortable plain bar, with a pool table and plenty of tellies, located in one end of the building. The rest of the interior appears closed. What does "RB" stand for, carved in the stonework?

The very large knocked through lounge side has pleasant uncluttered decor. I haven't tried the bar side, but it looks good as well. The whole place is very well looked after.

Stockwell Mount (Ma Kent's)
|
An impressive exterior and a wonderful inside with a nice floor mosaic in the hall and fine wood panelling in some of the rooms. The main attraction, however, is the most amazing collection of antiques and bric-a-brac I have ever seen. You name it, they collect it - ship's propellers, film star busts, Darth Vader helmets, bus ticket machines, musical instruments, ancient tools, tram controllers (and a driver's jacket) - the list is never ending. Well worth a visit despite the plastic beer, and make sure you visit all the rooms. I believe the owners and their collection moved here from a pub on Scottie Road. LSTV in the back room.
Now a residential hotel.

Tut 'n' Shive (White House)
|
A large knocked round pub with the usual Tut 'n' Shive decor, perhaps not as quirky as others in the chain were. Pool table.
